We went out with John and May for a dumpling dinner.
On the overnight train to Xi'an
Eating haw covered in toffee, some random soft fruit that was pretty good. We got to eat lots of interesting food including a vege called rape. Paul however did not want to try the cat, snake or crickets and scorpions on a stick!
Walking through the summer palace Chineese people were playing musical instruments, playing games and dancing.
Most of the public toilets had star ratings. I have to say that getting used to squatting took a while to get used too.
In the Hutons, the old part of Bejing.
Being pulled by a man riding a bike. No one in China wore helmets which is a worry considering the traffic. However the rickshaw tour was through the Hutons where the roads are to narrow for cars.

Looks like you had interesting food in China. Thought Paul might have tried the insects though!! I wouldn't have but there you go.
Great to hear you have a flat and we really enjoyed seeing the photos.
